Enjoy the fall colors at Indian Springs Metropark while helping natural resources staff collect native plant seed from the prairie! Volunteers will learn about a variety of native plant species found here, and seed will be used to restore natural areas within the metroparks.
All necessary tools and equipment will be provided. We will provide gloves, but feel free to bring your favorite pair! Please be sure to dress for working outdoors and off-trail in areas (long pants, layered clothing, closed-toe shoes, rain gear, hat, sunscreen, etc.). Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water!

Time: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
