2025 Impact
Taken together, programs like #TSNwebcasts, #TSNgloves, #TSNspring, #TSNevents, and #TSNjobs have reached stewards across 39 US states and two Canadian provinces in 2025.
Our TSN Spring Challenge program this year had incredible impact, with over 18,000 participants nationwide (a new record!) and more than 56,000 hours of diverse stewardship activities reported.
TSN Gloves for Good has now delivered more than 51,000 pairs of lightly-used work gloves to nature’s caretakers, saving recipient organizations over $132,000.
More than 2,000 people registered for our TSN Webcast series, connecting stewards with the information and inspiration they need to grow every single month.
We now provide fiscal sponsorship support to 10 vital initiatives nationwide. Seeing these groups thrive has been worth the significant staff energies invested in matters of finance, funding, event logistics, and employment across the country.
In total, our 20+ vibrant and diverse TSN Member Communities engaged with over 660 partner groups across roughly 214,000 square miles of local ecosystem service area.
- This year, we were honored to accept a quiet donation from her Goodall Foundation in support of our ongoing efforts.
TSN Member Community Highlights
In total, our 20+ vibrant and diverse TSN Member Communities engaged with over 600 partner groups across roughly 213,000 square miles of local ecosystem service area. The support TSN gives to each of these groups is as unique as they are, but we stand in awe of everything they’ve accomplished this year.
Healthier Ecosystems
Our groups had remarkable local impact in the management of invasive species, including BCK CISMA’s work to survey over 10,000 acres for mile-a-minute weed, Lake St. Clair CISMA’s vigilance against European frog-bit and water primrose, and CAKE CISMA’s perennial efforts on Bear Island against garlic mustard showing tremendous year-over-year success.
Expanded Reach
We welcomed two new Member Communities to our network, extending TSN’s reach into the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast with Columbia River Gorge Stewardship Network and Greater Baltimore Wilderness Coalition.
Stronger Connections
Both Central Wisconsin Invasives Partnership and Lake St. Clair CISMA put tremendous time and energy back into their communities, educating hundreds of adults and children about invasive species specifically and the value of stewardship in general.
Greater Capacity
South Central Invasives Partnership secured grant funding to bolster their outreach and education efforts, while Greater Baltimore Wilderness Coalition was awarded major project funding through The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to help restore the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
- The Great Lakes Islands Alliance just recently completed their 2024 Summit with an exciting mix of reliable supporters and new faces in attendance. Looking ahead, the GLIA Steering Committee has announced that the next Summit will take place on Beaver Island in Northern Lake Michigan in the fall of 2025.
- C.A.K.E. CISMA underwent a profound organizational rebuilding to position themselves for even greater impact in 2025, while California Landscape Stewardship Network unveiled and began to implement their 2024-2026 strategic roadmap.

We can't sustain this pace without your support!
With deep cuts weakening many of our sister groups, TSN has been called upon to step up this year and we’re doing absolutely everything we can. In light of this increased workload, generous allies have collaborated to match up to $52,000 of your donations received before the end of our fiscal year on December 31st.
If you’re able, please act now to help us make the most of this important opportunity.
