Donations that Avoid Processing Fees
Like most of our nonprofit peers, TSN loses about 4% of all online generosity to vendor processing fees on every credit card payment we receive, including private donations. If you wish to increase the impact of your donated dollars (especially powerful in cases of larger contributions), we invite you to consider sticking with the classics by either contacting finance@stewardshipnetwork.org for help with a wire transfer or by mailing a check to the address below. Thank you!

TSN Gift Acceptance Policy
Ratified 3/15/2023
Like many other nonprofit organizations, The Stewardship Network relies partly on the generosity of individuals, organizations, and businesses from across our communities in order to provide programs and services that are vital to our purpose. While all offers of support are sincerely appreciated, not all gifts can be accepted, particularly when such an acceptance may injure the organization or run counter to our mission. When considering whether to solicit or accept gifts, we will attempt to evaluate the following factors:
Values
whether the acceptance of the gift compromises any of the core values of The Stewardship Network
Compatibility
whether there is compatibility between the intent of the donor and the organization’s use of the gift
Public Relations
whether acceptance of the gift damages the reputation of The Stewardship Network
Primary Benefit
whether the primary benefit is to The Stewardship Network or the donor
Consistency
Form of Gift
whether the gift is offered in a form that The Stewardship Network can use without incurring substantial expense or difficulty
Effect on Future Giving
whether the gift will encourage or discourage future gifts
Final decisions to solicit or accept potentially controversial gifts will be made by our Board of Directors in consultation with the CEO. The primary consideration will be the impact of the gift on the organization.
