Endowment Contributions

Follow the link, and click “Designation,” use the drop-down bar to select The Stewardship Network.

With a planned gift to TSN, your foresight, generosity, and legacy can propel us all towards stewardship in perpetuity.

Donations that Avoid Processing Fees

Like most of our nonprofit peers, TSN loses about 4% of all online generosity to vendor processing fees on every credit card payment we receive, including private donations. If you wish to increase the impact of your donated dollars (especially powerful in cases of larger contributions), we invite you to consider sticking with the classics and sending your funds via check or wire transfer:

TSN Gift Acceptance Policy

Ratified 3/15/2023

Like many other nonprofit organizations, The Stewardship Network relies partly on the generosity of individuals, organizations, and businesses from across our communities in order to provide programs and services that are vital to our purpose. While all offers of support are sincerely appreciated, not all gifts can be accepted, particularly when such an acceptance may injure the organization or run counter to our mission. When considering whether to solicit or accept gifts, we will attempt to evaluate the following factors:

whether the acceptance of the gift compromises any of the core values of The Stewardship Network

whether there is compatibility between the intent of the donor and the organization’s use of the gift

Public Relations

whether acceptance of the gift damages the reputation of The Stewardship Network

Primary Benefit

whether the primary benefit is to The Stewardship Network or the donor

whether the acceptance of the gift is consistent with prior practice

Form of Gift

whether the gift is offered in a form that The Stewardship Network can use without incurring substantial expense or difficulty

Effect on Future Giving

whether the gift will encourage or discourage future gifts

Final decisions to solicit or accept potentially controversial gifts will be made by our Board of Directors in consultation with the CEO. The primary consideration will be the impact of the gift on the organization.
