Join the River Raisin Watershed Council’s Adopt-A-Stream program as we head into local streams to collect aquatic macroinvertebrates, also known as river “bugs.” These tiny organisms help us understand the health of our watershed and provide valuable data about water quality throughout the River Raisin.
No experience necessary! We’ll provide training, guidance, and all equipment needed. Just come ready to get your boots wet and learn something new!
After collection, join us at our Tecumseh office to sort and identify what we found!
