Service area: Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties (Michigan)
About us: The Southwest X Southwest Corner Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area exists to minimize the invasion and damage caused by non-native species through outreach, education, and responsible management. The CISMA works to help citizens, land owners, and land managers understand and manage the invasive species in our area.
This program is funded in part through the Michigan Invasive Species Grant Program through the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Department of the Environment Great Lakes and Energy, and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative grant through the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. These institutions are equal opportunity providers.
