Land Steward
ACRES Land Trust (Huntertown, IN)
Position Summary: Join ACRES Land Trust as a full-time Land Steward based in Huntertown, Indiana, where you’ll carry out invasive species control and ecological restoration, build and maintain trails, bridges, and boardwalks, and work with volunteers, partners, and preserve visitors across our northern region.
This hands-on outdoor role starts at $22+/hour with full benefits. We welcome applicants with a passion for conservation, especially those with natural resources experience or training in forestry, prescribed fire, or equipment operation.

Natural Areas Manager
Sarett Nature Center (Benton Harbor, MI)
Position Summary: Are you passionate about nature, ecological restoration, environmental education, and hands-on work in a beautiful outdoor setting? Sarett Nature Center is seeking a dedicated and organized Natural Areas Manager to take a leadership role in the management and monitoring of 1,000 acres of natural areas along the Paw Paw River in southwest Michigan that include a wide variety of natural communities that host over twenty state-listed wildlife species as well as federal-listed eastern massasauga rattlesnakes and Mitchell’s satyr butterflies.

Grants Manager
Restoring Lands (West Bend, WI)
Position Summary: The Grants Manager will write and coordinate private and government grants; initiate discussion and decision making with program, administrative, and development team members; seek data and information to inform reporting; establish and steward relationships with foundation staff; write grant proposals and reports; and research new funding sources. This role is the main point of contact for the organization’s grant program and reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer.

Senior Associate Consultant
Davey Resource Group (Novi, MI)
Position Summary: The position involves a variety of work including water resources delineation, Section 401/404 permitting, stream/wetland restoration design and construction, technical report writing, and management of a variety of projects that include environmental planning, permitting, monitoring, construction, and management. The primary focus of this position is to not only provide senior level project management and expertise, but also perform a key role in the development of new projects, including preparation of proposals, grant writing, networking and identifying new client relationships and project opportunities. This may include attending conferences/workshops and public speaking.

Americorps READY Field Team
Wayne State University (Detroit, MI)
Position Summary: AmeriCorps READY team members are Paid Non-Employee service volunteers who help Detroit, MI residents with home resiliency while learning skills in research surveys, teamwork, public health, and home environmental monitoring and interventions. Volunteers report to the AmeriCorps READY Program Director at Wayne State University’s Center for Urban Studies. This role centers increasing Detroit residents’ home flood resilience and air quality while incorporating workforce development for youth. Volunteers meet and work in teams to complete day-to-day in-office and in-field operations.

Natural Resources Technician
Natural Community Services (West Bloomfield, MI)
Join NCS’ natural resources team to play an integral role in implementing field work in a variety of ecological restoration roles. NCS is seeking a Field Technician Intern performing a variety of tasks involving labor with hand tools, project documentation and clean-up, technical work, and some light machine operation under supervision. A typical workday consists of 4–10 hours of in‐the‐field physical exertion and intensive vegetative observation focus, with variation for weather and specific upland and wetland job needs. We work year-round, but seasonal demand rises each fall, with related increase in typical hours seasonally.
