Planner
East Bay Regional Park District (Oakland, CA)
Position Summary: The East Bay Regional Park District is currently recruiting for a Planner to support the District’s Interagency Planning Unit, supporting the District’s efforts to protect and advance conservation lands through local planning, environmental review, and collaboration with public agencies. This role will work on planning and development decisions that may affect parks, open space, and natural resources, helping the District understand potential impacts and identify opportunities to protect park resources. The Planner will build relationships with local, regional, state, and federal partners, contribute to CEQA and regulatory processes, and help advance opportunities for public access, open space, and environmental protections.

Communication Intern
Aldo Leopold Nature Center (Monona, WI)
Position Summary: The Aldo Leopold Nature Center (ALNC) seeks an outgoing, energetic, and adaptable intern to assist our Development & Communications team this school year. ALNC is a non-profit educational organization guided by Aldo Leopold’s land ethic, with a mission to nurture children, their well-being, and environmental sustainability through connecting and learning in nature. ALNC serves more than 60,000 children and their families, educators, and community members annually, through year-round programs, including field trips, summer camps, preschool programs, as well as public and private events.

Ecological Landscape Project Manager
Perfect Earth Project (East Hampton, NY)
Position Summary: Perfect Earth Project is seeking an Ecological Landscape Project Manager to play a leading role in developing and managing an ecological consulting and advisory practice focused on transitioning properties to toxic-free, nature-based land care. In addition the job will include assisting Edwina von Gal on a small number of nature based landscape design projects.
The role offers a unique opportunity to help shape and lead an emerging model and pilot program for guiding ecological land management that fosters enthusiastic commitments to ecological land care through awareness and education of both land owners and professional service providers.

Americorps READY Field Team
Wayne State University (Detroit, MI)
Position Summary: AmeriCorps READY team members are Paid Non-Employee service volunteers who help Detroit, MI residents with home resiliency while learning skills in research surveys, teamwork, public health, and home environmental monitoring and interventions. Volunteers report to the AmeriCorps READY Program Director at Wayne State University’s Center for Urban Studies. This role centers increasing Detroit residents’ home flood resilience and air quality while incorporating workforce development for youth. Volunteers meet and work in teams to complete day-to-day in-office and in-field operations.

Natural Resources Technician
Natural Community Services (West Bloomfield, MI)
Join NCS’ natural resources team to play an integral role in implementing field work in a variety of ecological restoration roles. NCS is seeking a Field Technician Intern performing a variety of tasks involving labor with hand tools, project documentation and clean-up, technical work, and some light machine operation under supervision. A typical workday consists of 4–10 hours of in‐the‐field physical exertion and intensive vegetative observation focus, with variation for weather and specific upland and wetland job needs. We work year-round, but seasonal demand rises each fall, with related increase in typical hours seasonally.
