Join Oakland County Parks staff for fall seed collection days at Orion Oaks. Try your hand at native prairie plant seed collection, learn to identify and collect species that contribute to ongoing prairie restoration efforts and discover how prairie habitats are an endangered and critical part of our landscape for wildlife and people. We will meet in the parking lot and move into the fields for seed collection.

Check the weather beforehand and dress for outdoors and off trail in brush/plants.
Bring a waterbottle and boots!

Meet at: 2301 Joslyn Rd, Orion Township, MI 48360
