Join Oakland County Parks staff for fall seed collection days at Waterford Oaks. Try your hand at native prairie plant seed collection, learn to identify and collect species that contribute to ongoing prairie restoration efforts and discover how prairie habitats are an endangered and critical part of our landscape for wildlife and people. We will meet in the front of the parks administrative building and either collect from the planted demonstration gardens accessible from the sidewalk or move into the fields behind the building for seed collection.
Check the weather beforehand and dress for outdoors and we will be working with gardens adjacent to accessible sidewalk, and other opportunities off trail in brush/plants.

Meet at: 2800 Watkins Lake Rd Building #97W, Waterford Township, MI 48328
