Phragmites Removal at Crosswinds Marsh

August 27 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us to remove Phragmites, a highly invasive species as we canoe Crosswinds Marsh to battle back this plant. Crosswinds Marsh features lush wetlands, a diverse array of rare plants and wildflowers, and an abundance of wildlife. Unfortunately, non-native plants and shrubs are crowding out the native plants. By clearing invasive species from our parks, we are creating healthier ecosystems for our native species.

We will be meeting by the main trail head, next to the parking lot.

All participants must complete a release form, and all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Note* It is encouraged to bring waders if you have them.
