Invasive Species Training Seminar – May 4th

Invasive species can reduce biodiversity, damage infrastructure, and hinder management activities. Dr. Shikha Singh will discuss what invasive species are and how to identify some of the new ones we are concerned about in the area. We will cover basic management methods, equipment decontamination, and environmental considerations when using pesticides. This talk is geared towards landscapers, municipal staff, volunteers, and partners interested in learning about invasive species. This event is free, and registration is required. Attendees will be eligible for two RUP credits in category 2, 3B, 6, Commercial Core or Private Core. For more information or to register, see contact information below.
